You need to get fast on your feet. Sometimes you’ll get 24 hours to look at a script. And then they change it on you. Twice. In the studio. And now you need four characters. Can you do that with an Italian accent? And a lisp?
This is a fast-paced workout to see just how quickly you can learn to make choices, give great performances and not just learn to cold read, but perform at a high level with NO rehearsal. This workshop is part of the 2017 Voiceover Lab Series.
Best VO Audition Techniques & All About Agents
Voice over is a big pond and it’s getting bigger all the time with home studios, USB mics and the internet. Come learn about current trends, opportunities, and resources. We’ll have a few special guests who will talk about what’s going on in the business right now. Who are the agents and casting directors in the Pacific NW? How do you get in touch with them? Do you need an agent? Can you have more than one? We’ll answer these questions and more in this workshop.
